Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies
The Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies (AFWA) represents fish and wildlife agencies in North America and Canadian provinces with primary responsibility for conservation, management and protection of the fish and wildlife resources. The association works with its members strengthen collaboration on wildlife conservation and to provide a clear and collective voice to advance favorable fish and wildlife conservation policy and funding.
AFWA also cooperatively administers the Multistate Conservation Grant Program (MSCGP) with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) by providing a “priority list” of their recommendations and managing and monitoring the grant awards. Up to $6 million is made available annually to fund MSCGP projects.
