Hunter Education
Hunter education provides the essential foundation for preparing students for safe, ethical hunting experiences and is required by law in most states. The program includes lessons on safe firearms handeling, ammunition, hunter safety tips, hunting techniques, wildlife identification, first-aid and more. All programs adhere to the standards set by the the International Hunter Education Association (IHEA) and are often recognized for compliance in all 50 state Fish and Wildlife Agencies. The International Hunter Education Association (IHEA) – USA is the professional hunter education association affiliated with the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies and the 50 state fish and hunter education programs. The programs employ 55,000 instructors, many of whom are volunteers, that teach hunting and shooting safety and responsibilities throughout the United States.
